As widely acknowledged by the Nigeria Police Force and other conventional security agencies, security cannot be left in their hands alone. As they continue in their advocacy for all and sundry to be proactive in ensuring safety at all level and the realization of their gross inadequacy in terms of their numerical strength, the dire need for effective policing at all levels spurred NESO to come on board to help in providing the services of information gathering and actionable intelligence deployable to the relevant conventional security agency as an early warning mechanism.
